Responding to reviewer comments (ฉบับเอาฮา จริงๆ)

กำลังเครียดกับการเขียนจดหมายถึงบรรณาธิการและตอบโต้ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิพิจารณาบทความ (Reviewer) ร่างจดหมายเสร็จแล้ว เลยอยากขอคำปรึกษาจากผู้รู้ทั้งหลายว่า ถ้าผมเขียนจดหมายทำนองนี้ตอบโต้ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจะทำให้ผมได้ตีพิมพ์บทความมัํยครับ

As the author of "XYZ" I would like to thank you for your kind words and valuable suggestions.  On the other hand, I admit that my feelings were hurt, and I had to consider for a long time if I would resubmit this little masterpiece. 

In the end, I succumbed to the realization that, "the reviewer is always right," and I went to work to make this a more satisfactory paper.  I revised some paragraphs, and added some others, and generally tried to meet all the reviewer's requirements.  Then I took a break to spend time with my children, and came back to re-read what I had done.  

The following criticism struck me as particularly funny, since I still struggle with writing English.

[Reviewer wrote...Some spelling weaknesses that would benefit from being checked by author or colleague.  Although generally clear and readable it would benefit from review by a 1st language English speaker (as I assume the author is not , even though he/she can write clearly and well)].

Please explain why spelling weaknesses need to be benefited.  We took an opposite approach in trying to benefit the paper by removing spelling weaknesses.

A native speaking English editor was employed - without compensation -  to proofread the final manuscript to remove spelling and grammatical errors. This revised version of the manuscript should be characterized by an absence of English grammatical and spelling errors and an engaging style.  How do you like it?  Please do not find more errors, as we have already shot the native speaker, and he was the last one we had.  Thank you.
